Cauliflower Steaks

GLUTEN FREE, KETO, PALEO,
AIP, WHOLE 30, DAIRY FREE

This was an easy fast meal, using the inspiration from the viral cauliflower “steak” slices. I simply used the leftover ground Turkey meat mixture used in the Cauli-Turkey nugget recipe, previously posted.

Perfect additional meal to create simultaneously for meal prepping, alongside while making the Nuggets. This provides multiple easy healthy meals available on hand.


Easy Clean Ingredients


🔲 1 head of cauliflower sliced

🔲 1/2 lb of Ground Turkey or Ground Chicken uncooked (I used the remaining Cauli-Turkey Nugget meat mixture and added onion to the mixture)

🔲 Olive Oil or Avacodo Oil & seasonings of your choice

🔲 Toppings of your choice. This time I only used fresh spinach (some people use tomatoes, onions, mushrooms, cheese etc)

  • Slice the Cauliflower into thick slices.
  • Coat with Olive Oil or Avocado Oil and seasonings of your choice
  • Top with uncooked ground Turkey meat mixture
  • Add toppings of your choice. I used spinach and placed it between the cauliflower and ground turkey.
  • Bake at 425 degrees for 35- 40 minutes.
  • Once cauliflower is roasted to texture of your choice & meat is no longer pink, top with cheese or your favorite sauce. I used blended cottage cheese mixed with a sugar free Chili sauce drizzle.
  • Bake for 5 more minutes or until browned to your liking.
Bake at 425 degrees for 35-40 minutes.

Any cauliflower that loosely falls off during slicing, save for another recipe or roast on same pan separately, as shown below.
